StarTech Inc. today announced that its predictive analytics engine, Enterprise Sentinel 4.1, has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP HANA® platform. The solution has been proven to run on SAP HANA and to leverage its unique capabilities.

The SAP® Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Enterprise Sentinel 4.1 is powered by SAP HANA. SAP HANA is revolutionizing the speed of data processing for reporting, analytics, and computational tasks. Solutions that are powered by the SAP HANA platform have proven to run on SAP HANA, and to tap into the distinctive capabilities of SAP HANA such as real-time integration and predictive analytics.

“We are delighted to announce the successful certification of Enterprise Sentinel 4.1, and believe the achievement of having our flagship product powered by SAP HANA will radically transform the way our current and future customers approach and utilize predictive analytics,” said Tom Starnes, President of StarTech Inc.

Enterprise Sentinel is a predictive analytics engine that collects and monitors business application transactions and device data from the enterprise with the ability to preemptively take corrective actions. Sentinel’s value lies in its ability to leverage the power of SAP HANA for instantaneous predictive analytics. The Sentinel Agent/Action architecture collects “statistics” and leverages SAP HANA to help companies gain deep insight into their lines of business, such as order and supply chain management, as well as IT operations. Running together with SAP HANA, Enterprise Sentinel provides exceptional value in industry-specific use-cases across the retail, oil and gas, telecommunications, financial services, and energy sectors.
