Wharton, NJ (PRWEB) August 04, 2014 -- Sam Gilfillan has joined Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) as the Manager of the new Dewatering Services Division. He brings with him over 25 years of construction, dewatering and hazardous materials remediation experience. This includes project experience within the private, public, state and federal government sectors, with project values from $50,000 to over $400 million/segment ($2.7 Billion total single project value), and up to $85 million annual operating budgets.
Mr. Gilfillan's exposure to construction dewatering began at a young age when he joined his father’s construction dewatering company and worked in the manufacture, R&D and implementation of a patented line of specialty dewatering equipment. Learning the business from the ground up has led to Mr. Gilfillan’s broad and extensive exposure to groundwater management and soil remediation of heavy metal, radiological and VOC contaminants. He later held a supervisory position with a national dewatering company and in the process gained extensive experience within the U.S. Mid Atlantic, North East and New England regions. GWTT also welcomes Robert M. Bennett to the Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT) team as the Division Manager responsible for all new engineered treatment systems and equipment for offices and regions throughout the United States. Additionally he will negotiate OEM accounts for products purchased within GWTT for treatment equipment systems.
Mr. Bennett brings over 25 years of environmental engineering and sales experience having worked as a Vice President for one of the largest environmental equipment manufacturing companies in the continental U.S. His experience and knowledge working with contractors and engineering firms throughout his career has enabled him to develop and design some of the most unique groundwater systems in the industry.
