Filament Games Releases Crazy Plant Shop on Steam Store
Madison, WI (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- Move over, Mendel. Filament Games is giving gamers the chance to become the ultimate botanist. Crazy Plant Shop, a game where players sell fantastic and strange plants to a cast of quirky customers, is now available on Steam. This release marks the second title that Filament Games has brought to the popular gaming platform after releasing Reach for the Sun last fall.
Crazy Plant Shop is a game centered on the mechanics of plant genetics and allows players to run a store that houses a variety of wacky plants. Players must take orders from whimsical clientele and use a seemingly magic “breeding machine” to attain the type of flower with the correct traits needed to fulfill an order. The more orders you fulfill, the more gold you are given, and players can then upgrade features in their shop.
“Crazy Plant shop blends shopkeeping gameplay mechanics with plant breeding and collecting, blending its learning objectives into the gameplay seamlessly,” said Dan Norton, Filament Games Chief Creative Officer. “Filament is very excited to release Crazy Plant Shop onto Steam, and we look forward to getting feedback from the Steam Community to make Crazy Plant Shop even better!”
