Cedexis, the leading provider of cloud-based global load balancing solutions, announced today the appointment of Rony Lerner as Vice President of Engineering and Eric Butler as Senior Director of Product. The appointment of these Product and Engineering executives comes at a time of accelerating growth at Cedexis and expands the scope of the company’s new product development and delivery capabilities.
At Cedexis, Eric will lead the definition and delivery of new customer-focused, Web application optimization products. Most recently, Eric led the technology architecture and data science teams at Webtrends, Inc., where he focused on unlocking the value of Big Data using Web-performance technologies. “Eric is the ideal leader to expand the value of the Cedexis’ Radar (real-time end-user performance monitoring) and Openmix (real-time global load balancing) products. His customer-centric view of Web performance will help the hundreds of global enterprises that use Cedexis to accelerate their Web-based applications,” said Scott Grout, Cedexis CEO.
Seasoned engineering executive Rony Lerner joins Cedexis with a mandate to meaningfully scale up Cedexis’ global DevOps organization, scaling the Engineering and Operations teams to deliver the next generation of innovative Cedexis products. Rony comes from industry leader Tripwire where he served as VP of R & D, and managed the company’s global Engineering organization.
