(PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- The lick that Jon demonstrates has a melody on the top end of the chord voicing’s that is based in G minor pentatonic and the whole lick is harmonized with the notes in the chord voicing’s. MacLennan demonstrates the easy jazz lick in the key of G as follows; starting with a great jazz chord voicing of G13, 3rd fret of the 4th string with first finger, 5th fret of the 3rd string with 2nd finger, 5th fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger and 3rd fret of the first string with first finger and by simply sliding this chord voicing up and down the fret board the note played on the first string completes the melody.
