Highway Expert Rafael Aguilar, PE, Rejoins HNTB Corporation’s Expanding South Florida Transportation Practice
Miami (PRWEB) August 05, 2014 -- To address population growth and resulting infrastructure needs, HNTB Corporation continues adding top talent to serve its transportation clients. Rafael Aguilar, PE, project manager roadway department, has re-joined the firm and will be based in Miami. He previously worked for HNTB from 2005-2006.
In this role, Aguilar is responsible for managing multiple projects for the Florida Department of Transportation, Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, Miami-Dade County and other municipalities. He will manage project budgets, schedules and production activities, and assist in project pursuits, preparation of proposals and other contract requirements.

Aguilar has 16 years of transportation infrastructure experience in Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Florida International University.
In addition to Aguilar, HNTB’s personnel expansion in the region includes the recent hiring of Fred Ochoa, PE, statewide structures leader, and Martin Marquez, PE, transportation director, both based in Fort Lauderdale.
