Mars National Bank’s Shawn Proper Appointed to Advisory Committee of Bankers Association

Proper, Senior Vice President, Mortgage and Consumer Lending of Mars National Bank has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Mortgage Banking Advisory Committee. The Advisory Committee is responsible to guide, review and recommend education and training programs for mortgage banking professionals. Mr. Proper began serving a one-year term July 1, 2014.
Mr. Proper is an experienced banker, with nearly 20 years in mortgage and consumer lending including nine years with Mars National Bank. He is responsible for overseeing the mortgage, home equity term, line of credit and consumer lending at the Bank.
The Pennsylvania Bankers Association, located in Harrisburg, is the state’s leading banking trade association representing an expansive and diverse membership.
