M. Quentin Williams of NYC Law Firm Joins Samaritan's Feet Board of Directors
Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) August 07, 2014 -- M. Quentin Williams, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of The Butler Lappert Williams Firm PC in New York City, has recently joined the Board of Directors for Samaritan’s Feet International. Williams brings a strong desire to see others succeed and familiarity with the impact of a life of service to the growing Board of Directors.
“I have a passion to serve others and to meet their needs by providing access to my resources and skills. Empowerment and education – both in business and society – are important elements of my service to others, Williams said. “And Samaritan’s Feet seeks to empower society by providing education, meeting the health and medical needs of underserved members of society and inspiring those in need.”
Williams was introduced to Emmanuel “Manny” Ohonme, Co-Founder and President of Samaritan’s Feet, several years ago and crossed paths with him again while learning more about the mission of Samaritan’s Feet. Williams then expressed interest in assisting the non-profit humanitarian aid organization to efficiently reach more children and help aid in their goal of serving 10 million children in 10 years.
“I grew up impoverished and in desperate need of inspiration. Fortunately, some good people held my hand through some very formative years and my success is a direct result of the love and service provided to me by others. So given my humble beginnings, serving society is not just my duty and obligation to others, it is an honor and privilege,” Williams said.
Williams’ full-service law firm and media company specializes in commercial transactions in the sports, entertainment, media, and technology industries. He has experience representing the legal and business interests of companies and individuals from industries such as professional sports, entertainment, fashion, media, medical, and education.
