Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) August 06, 2014 -- Rigaku Corporation is pleased to announce its attendance at the 23rd annual International Union of Crystallography (IUCr) meeting in Montréal, Québec, Canada from August 5-12, 2014. Rigaku will be exhibiting its advanced lines of X-ray diffraction and crystallization automation instrumentation at Booth #269. The exhibit will showcase the latest in instrumentation—from small molecule to protein crystallography, from liquid handling to crystal imaging, and from general purpose XRD to SAXS applications.
Rigaku offers instrumentation and software for macromolecular and chemical crystallography, crystallization automation, X-ray fluorescence, general purpose X-ray diffraction and small angle X-ray scattering. Among the new offerings being shown are the Rigaku XtaLAB PRO single crystal diffractometer with new XtaLAB Guidance software, and the Rigaku SmartLab 3 multipurpose X-ray diffraction system. Also on display from Rigaku will be the MicroMax-007 HF microfocus rotating anode X-ray generator with the BioSAXS-2000 SAXS system and PILATUS 1M HPAD detector, the XtalDetectR crystal imaging system with Gallery DTX incubator, and the HyPix 3000, HyPix-400 and d/TEX 250 detectors.
Rigaku will also be sponsoring or participating in a number of special events for this year’s IUCr meeting, which corresponds with the United Nations declaration of 2014 as the International Year of Crystallography (IYCr2014) to recognize the importance of the field to technology, modern society and humanity and to commemorate 100 years of X-ray diffraction.
