The Capital Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO|DC), the premier, peer-to-peer, global community, network and resource for entrepreneurs announced the appointment of 17 members to its Board of Directors.
The DC Chapter of EO (EO|DC) aims to enrich members’ lives through dynamic peer-to-peer learning and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. EO DC aims to be the catalyst that enables entrepreneurs to learn from each other’s experiences, leading to significant business and personal success.
“EO has had an incredible impact on me both personally and professionally, and I’m honored to serve as President on the board with so many influential business leaders,” said T.J. Jubeir, incoming EO|DC president. “We have an exciting year of both learning and social events planned for our savvy network of entrepreneurs and I am confident this will be EO DC’s most successful year yet.”
Incoming board members include: President T.J. Jubeir, Founder and Managing Partner of private equity firm, Capitol Partners.
Incoming Vice President and Accelerator Chair is Daniel Turner. Daniel is the President of TCG, an IT services and solutions firm.
Jen Sterling, Former EO DC President, will stay on the board and serve as co-learning chair. Jen is the President and CEO of graphic design firm Red Thinking.
Viraj Gandhi will continue serving as co-learning chair. Viraj is currently the CEO of Paradyme Management, a DC management/consulting firm.
Anna Birch, EO DC’s membership chair, is the founder of Adventure Links a company dedicated to inspiring teams, leaders, and companies to apply positive action and facilitate change from the inside out.
Craig Merrills will serve as Co-Membership Integration Chair. Craig is an owner of two Washington DC restaurants as well as his latest venture, WOW-1DAY Painting.
Samuel Ryan will also be joining the board as Co-Membership Integration Chair. Samuel is CEO of DC public relations firm, Keybridge Communications.
Maureen Schantz President of Alternative Health Associates, will join the EO DC board as Mentorship Chair.
Communications Chair Elizabeth Shea is the Founder and CEO of SpeakerBox Communications, a PR agency for technology companies.
Emerging Programs Chair Michael Goldstein is a serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Exhilarator, an operating company in the business of scaling businesses. Additionally, Michael is the Founder of SwitchPitch.
Colin Kimpel, Financial Advisor at Capitol Financial Partners, will join the 2014-2015 board as Strategic Alliance Chair.
Dennis Alloy will serve as Co-Membership Engagement Chair. Dennis is the owner of property and business services company, Lynden Enterprises Inc.
Jeffery Cheng will also serve as Co-Membership Engagement Chair. Jeffery is Chairman and CEO of GURU Inc.
Serving as incoming Co-Social Chair is Ali Allage. Ali is currently CEO of Boost Labs, a design firm that offers Data Visualization, Infographics Design, and UI Design.
Edward Rose of Rose Financial Services will also be joining the EO DC board as Co-Social Chair.
Jeffery Katz will be joining the board as incoming Finance Chair. Jeffery is the Founder of JD Katz, P.C.: Attorneys at Law.
Finally, Forum Chair for the 2014-2015 EO DC Board will be Founder and CEO of Imagine Business Development, Doug Davidoff.
