Viridian Lake Club Breaks Ground, Phase One Scheduled To Open Late Summer
Arlington, Texas (PRWEB) August 06, 2014 -- The Viridian Lake Club, a centerpiece amenity in the Viridian master planned community in Arlington, Texas has broken ground on phase one of the complex.
The Viridian Lake Club will be constructed in two phases, the first of which is scheduled for completion this summer. The highly anticipated amenity of the growing community will feature four resort style pools including a sand-edge pool, toddler pool, conversation pool and lap pool in the first phase as well as outdoor amphitheater for concerts and community gatherings, extensive shade structures, and tennis courts adjacent to the clubhouse with finely appointed men’s and women’s changing rooms.
“This is a truly unique facility that will add tremendous enjoyment to the families and members of our community,” said Robert Kembel, President of JCKPL Developers, the firm developing Viridian.
The groundbreaking of the second phase of the Viridian Lake Club will follow completion of the first, with a yet to be determined date. Phase two, a 9,000 square foot event center is expected to be the premier destination for Viridian residents to host future weddings, meetings and gatherings. It will include a catering kitchen, great lawn and a 21+ pool; all overlooking Lake Viridian.
Residents and visitors of Viridian commonly frequent the parks, green spaces and trails within the community and encompassing Lake Viridian. Future plans include a wind-only marina along the shoreline of the lake which only allows non-motorized boats including sailboats, rowing and more.
All parks within Viridian are public, however the Viridian Lake Club will only be open for use by residents of Viridian and is maintained by the Viridian Homeowners Association. A key aspect in the planning of Viridian is to design a community that encourages and embraces an active lifestyle.
