Introducing a new product designed to provide consistent lubricant application for the ultra-thin stock typically used in the HVAC, container and packaging industries.

Grand Rapids, Michigan (PRWEB) August 08, 2014

Lubricant system manufacturer Unist, Inc. introduces a new product designed to provide consistent lubricant application for the ultra-thin stock typically used in the HVAC, container and packaging industries. The TSL™ System features controlled lubricant delivery to both sides of thin (.002” - .010”, .05mm - .25mm) stock and can accommodate stock widths from 9” to 45” (228mm – 1143mm). Lubricant is applied through reversible felt application pads and pneumatic cylinders maintain consistent contact with the material. Controlled lubricant delivery is achieved using Unist’s SPR-2000™ programmable fluid controller. The TSL™ is capable of applying lubricant coatings as low as 25 mg/ft2 (269 mg/m2) and TSL™ System users report a reduction in lubricant usage of 40-50% as well as the elimination of fluid mess.
