Echo-Factory Creates and Produces Nationally Broadcasted Commercials for MagLite

The commercials, currently in national broadcast rotation on The Weather Channel, are 15 and 20 seconds in length, respectively, and are part of a larger effort by Echo-Factory and Mag Instruments to deliver the MagLite message of Made in the U.S.A. quality and dependability to a new generation of flashlight users.

A combination of still photography and computer-generated effects deliver the MagLite message in a modern way, while the visuals are designed to resonate with the national audience of The Weather Channel viewers.
Echo-Factory creative director Dea Goldsmith notes that writing specifically for The Weather Channel had its unique challenges. “Every region that The Weather Channel covers experiences its own weather events. From tornados to wildfires, we had to make sure that the commercials speak to the needs and apprehensions of all viewers. We created the commercials with this dynamic messaging in mind, and so far, the response has been very positive.”
