Sperry Van Ness International Corporation (SVNIC), a commercial real estate franchisor, announces that Solomon Poretsky has joined the company in a new senior management position, Vice President of Organizational Development, effective March 2014.
In this newly created position, Poretsky’s primary role is to help Sperry Van Ness® (SVN) Advisors and staff, located at more than 180 SVN franchises in 200 markets nationwide, develop and hone their individual skillsets. To this end, Poretsky oversees the development of content for the SVN System for Growth™, assists SVN franchise owners with office expansion, and also supports the numerous SVN Product Councils.

Prior to joining SVNIC, Poretsky was a partner at Custom Skills Development, a commercial real estate consulting firm that provided coaching, development, and training services to agents and commercial real estate brokerages across North America. A 12-year veteran of commercial real estate, he started his career at Marcus & Millichap, where he was involved in over $1.2 billion of listing sales and closings as both an Agent and a Regional Manager. Poretsky graduated cum laude from Columbia University in New York City.
