The Sales Whisperer® Interviewed on Success Harbor Podcast
Murrieta, CA (PRWEB) August 07, 2014 -- Although at first it may seem at odds with what our parents taught us, but entrepreneurs have to learn how to "blow their own horn," says Wes Schaeffer in his recent interview with George Meszaros of Success Harbor.
When Meszaros asked Schaeffer how he became The Sales Whisperer®, he said that he had anointed himself. “On September 1, 2006, I was watching an episode of The Dog Whisperer. Cesar Milan's opening statement was ‘I rehabilitate dogs, and I train their owners.’ That's exactly what I was doing. I was rehabilitating mistreated sales people and training sales managers. Managers are often simply sales people who get promoted and have no idea of how to manage people. That’s how I became The Sales Whisperer®."
Schaeffer also answers questions dealing with why he went into sales after leaving the U.S. Air Force, about the importance of domain names and how they can be used as a sales tool, why he doesn’t buy .org or .net URL’s, and many other practical steps entrepreneurs can take to boost their sales.
