According to statistics provided by the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC), more than 20,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year; if caught early enough, the disease is 90% treatable. Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys announce sponsorship of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) - Valley of the Sun Chapter’s 6th Annual Run/Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer through their non-profit foundation, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back. The 2014 fundraising run/walk will take place Sunday, September 21 in Tempe, Arizona, at the north soccer field area of Kiwanis Park. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. with 5k Run starting at 8:35 a.m. and 1 mile fun run at 8:55 a.m. All funds raised will directly benefit NOCC’s local and national ovarian cancer awareness and education programs that were created to help improve survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
