However nothing prepared beachBUB USA for the amount of national interest that would come from the feature debut on the TODAY Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda. The segment, Summer Style under $25, showcased beachBUB® as the first product and highlighted how well the beachBUB® anchors your umbrella so it never blows away. The exposure contributed to the largest business day for the company to date. It only furthered beachBUB®’s awareness across the country and has created a nationwide stir for the umbrella base.
The segment aired on July 16th which proved perfect timing for beachBUB® and for building brand awareness in the beach season. “We saw a 2000% increase over our average daily Internet traffic,” stated President Bill Schermerhorn. The segment brought about new interest that reached states as far as Hawaii as well as other countries such as Canada and England.
