Ace Hardware Hosts One-Day Bucket Promotion to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) August 11, 2014 -- Ace Hardware is helping make miracles for local sick and injured kids at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
On Aug. 16, Ace customers who make a $5 donation will earn a limited edition five-gallon bucket and receive 20 percent off* most everything that fits in the bucket. All donations will directly benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
The bucket promotion is part of Ace Hardware’s Block Party Event, which takes place at participating locations Friday, Aug. 15, through Sunday, Aug. 17.
“Ace is committed to being the Helpful Place in each community we serve, and part of that means giving back,” said Jimmy Alexander, president, Ace Hardware Foundation. “We’re proud to help make miracles happen for children in need and to provide support for the entire family.”
Ace’s second-annual All-Star, 10-year-old Aiden Morales, is the face of Ace Hardware’s 2014 campaigns for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Aiden was born with a heart defect called tricuspid atresia requiring numerous operations, including the first surgery when Aiden was just six months old. He has since undergone four surgeries, including an operation to give him a pacemaker. Aiden’s image and story will be featured in hundreds of Ace Hardware stores across the nation this summer.
Ace Hardware has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1991. Thanks to the generosity of Ace customers, retailers, vendors and team members, together Ace has raised more than $59 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country.
“Our friends at the Ace Foundation have been a committed and valued partner in our vision to save the lives of as many children as possible,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “The funds raised through this bucket promotion will go directly to pay for life-saving medical treatment for sick and injured kids across the country.”
