Mark Cacamis, PE, CPC, CCM, has joined HNTB Corporation as the firm’s mid-Atlantic delivery manager, associate vice president, in its Southeast Division. Cacamis brings more than 30 years of infrastructure design, construction, and project delivery experience in the United States. He is based in the firm’s Richmond, Virginia office.
Cacamis will enhance and further develop the firm’s state-agency client focus in the mid-Atlantic marketplace. He will help manage delivery of projects and assignments while developing and sustaining key client relationships.
Cacamis comes to HNTB with a wealth of state-agency expertise from his previous positions as state construction engineer and state contracts engineer with Virginia Department of Transportation. His background also includes working as a division manager for a Louisiana-based construction company.

Cacamis is involved in numerous industry organizations, and sits on the boards of the Construction Management Association of America and ABET-Accreditation Board for Engineering Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Alabama and a master’s degree in public administration from Old Dominion University.
Additionally, Cacamis has authored numerous published industry articles.
