The Chattanooga AQS QuiltWeek will run from September 10 to 13 at the Chattanooga Convention Center, 1150 Carter Street, Chattanooga, TN 37401.

More than 15,000 people will converge on the Chattanooga area to enjoy four days of the best in international quilt and textile artistry. Over 500 quilts will be on display, with more than $50,000 in prizes to be awarded at the event for quilting excellence. In addition, AQS QuiltWeek will be hosting a series of workshops with some of the top talent in the quilt industry and an extensive merchant mart comprised of both local and national vendors.

Included in AQS QuiltWeek’s celebrated exhibits the SAQA Masters II exhibit will feature 35 quilts from some of today’s top quilting artists. Also on display is the Quilted in Honor traveling exhibit by Island Batik, which supports Operation Homefront, a not-for-profit organization providing financial assistance, food, repairs, and help to the families of our United States service members and wounded warriors in need. Returning from Egypt, the Stitch Like an Egyptian exhibit will showcase stunning creations of appliqué. Two of the Tentmakers of Cairo will be accompanying the works, eager to meet visitors and demonstrate their amazing appliqué techniques.
