The Foundation for Global Sports Development Helps Promote Fair Play at the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 11, 2014 -- The Foundation for Global Sports Development (GSD) has joined forces with the International Committee for Fair Play (CIFP) to educate youth participating in the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games (YOG) on the critical values of fair play - both on and off the playing field.
Unique from other youth sporting competitions and events, the YOG incorporates an influential Culture and Education Program (CEP) into the games and CIFP, an IOC recognized organization, has participated since the YOG’s inception in 2010. With the support of GSD, CIFP’s Fair Play Programming will include an interactive booth, walk-in activities, and workshops that promote the importance of fair play and sportsmanship among athletes while demonstrating how youth can best apply these values.
