Wantagh, NY (PRWEB) August 09, 2014

Ticket Down is a reputable source for authentic 5 Seconds of Summer tickets at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh/Long Island, NY. 5 Seconds of Summer is one of the most popular groups of any genre in the world. The boy band from Sydney, Australia, is heading out on a headline trek across the United States and Canada called the “Rock Out with Your Socks Out” tour. The tour is scheduled to kick off this November with three shows in Phoenix, AZ and Los Angeles, CA and will continue next July with a show in Las Vegas, NV. The group will travel to many of the premier concert venues on North America including stops on 9/1 and 9/2 at the Nikon at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York (Long Island).

5 Seconds of Summer got their start in the music business as a group in 2011 and began to make waves after covering other artists music on YouTube. The group did so well and created such hype that One Direction asked them to open for them on their 2013 trek around the world, “The Take Me Home Tour.” Now, as headliners themselves, 5 Seconds of Summer, which consists of Luke Hemmings (lead vocals, guitar), Michael Clifford (guitar, vocals), Calum Hood (bass guitar, vocals) and Ashton Irwin (drums, vocals), will allow their fans to see them up close and personal.

The group released their debut album in June 2014 with 5 Seconds of Summer. The album reached the top of the albums charts in many countries around the world including the United States, Australia, Denmark, Canada, and New Zealand. Prior to their first studio album, the group had released four extended play albums and has another scheduled to be released in September of this year. Their March 2014 release, She Looks So Perfect, sold more than 275,000 copies in the United States.

When the group takes the stage at Nikon at Jones Beach on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2, fans will hope to hear them perform many of their popular singles that have been released including, “Good Girls,” “Out of My Limit,” “She Looks So Perfect,” “Kiss Me Kiss Me,” “Amnesia,” and “Everything I Didn’t Say.” Fans will also hope to hear many of the songs the group covered on YouTube before they were discovered. By doing this, 5 Seconds of Summer will give their fans the best of both worlds.

In the northeast, the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater has turned into one of those venues that every major artist needs to play. Fans will come from all around the region to catch their favorite performers at this beautiful venue. In the New York area, there are only two outdoor venues, which add to the popularity of the facility in the summer. It was originally constructed in 1952 and was renovated in 2013 after Hurricane Sandy damaged it. Much of the venue was in destroyed and it reopened after more than $20 million in renovations. When 5 Seconds of Summer plays there next September, it will seat more than 15,000 crazed pop fans.
