The technical session ‘Semantic Metadata, Auto-classification and Taxonomies’ will be hosted by David McBarron, Principal Consultant at Concept Searching. With over 25 years of IT experience, Mr. McBarron is responsible for pioneering work in cloud computing, big data, and SharePoint and Office 365 adoption. He currently provides consulting expertise and technical experience on large SharePoint and Office 365 deployments, with an emphasis on metadata generation and taxonomic classifications.
This informative session will take a deep dive into metadata, auto-classification, and taxonomy technologies, providing the roadmap for deployment, and discussing management and maintenance challenges in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. Attendees will understand what is needed to integrate and manage SharePoint, Office 365, and OneDrive for Business using these technologies.

Mr. Mann will be presenting the session ‘SharePoint and Office 365 Information Governance and Compliance Challenges’. This session will explore information governance and compliance issues in the cloud, as well as in SharePoint.
