Svendsen explained that the program uses a video recording of the live session as a basis for the training, but adds exercises, quizzes and other assignments that are geared toward individual participants.

The company spokesman went on to point out that safetyBUILT-IN has had a lot of success with the live version of its flagship safety-leadership workshop with its client companies.
“But these have always been closed, company-specific sessions,” Svendsen noted, before adding, “The online version of the workshop opens the door of opportunity to individuals and smaller companies who would like to attend but can’t justify the cost of a larger in-house session.”
The company’s safety-leadership programs, according to Svendsen, are competency-based, and focused on performance outcomes.
