We Need to Wake up and Learn from the Death of Robin Williams Says Yisrayl Hawkins in New Open Letter
Abilene, Texas (PRWEB) August 15, 2014 -- As people around the world today are still mourning the death of comedian Robin Williams and tributes continue to pour out to his legacy, Yisrayl Hawkins, Pastor and Overseer of The House of Yahweh, has taken a slightly different approach; he’s calling for change.
In a new open letter, Yisrayl says Robin Williams suffered needlessly and that the cause was due to the system he was brought up in. He says Williams was not taught from the beginning how to live a moral life that would keep him far away from drugs, the abuse of alcohol and the depression that would lead to his demise.
Yisrayl writes about when television was introduced into many homes and how the religious leaders, at that time, did not support the immoral teachings TV brought with it; but that’s not the case today.
“Eighteen years after I was born, television was in many homes teaching against Righteous morals, the very morals that kept marijuana out of Muskogee, Oklahoma and many other towns in that state. I shed tears when I think of the misery this man suffered in private because the religions failed him,” Yisrayl said.
Yisrayl says Robin Williams is not the first and won’t be the last to fall into this deadly trap, and he calls for action to make a change.
“If the religions had stood up for Righteousness, they could have kept Hollywood from destroying so many lives, as it is doing today. Listen closely in your dreams, or maybe even your nightmares, and you may hear Robin crying out for help, as he did for many years in his state of depression and helplessness. You may hear him crying, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
Yisrayl says he has the plan that will end the suffering and stop the senseless misery and deaths. He asks for you to join the fight against marijuana and all other drugs.
