A New Special Day, Appreciation Day October 1st
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 13, 2014 -- The Appreciation Society launched their online Appreciation sites: http://www.AppreciationSociety.com and http://www.AppreciationDay.com today. The purpose of the Appreciation Society and their sponsored websites is to give individuals a chance to enjoy the pleasure of sharing Appreciation through social media, online cards, products and occasional newsletters.
“Appreciation is a missing ingredient in many people’s daily lives. This is true both at home and at work. Studies have shown that the lack of Appreciation is the number one reason most people quit their jobs. At the Appreciation Society we define Appreciation as a long term thank you,” says Russell Cleveland, Founder. Mr. Cleveland continues to state “There are two benefits in showing Appreciation to others, one is for the person giving the Appreciation and the other is for the person receiving the Appreciation – it is a win-win for everyone involved.”
The Appreciation Society announces that October 1st will be the beginning of the first annual Appreciation Day. This new special day for the world is supported on http://www.appreciationday.com. The website allows people to post words of Appreciation for all to see by sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and appreciationday.com. When someone submits a free post about someone, the Appreciated person receives an email containing the message of Appreciation.
Both sites also offer the opportunity to send two fun animated e-cards for only $2.99 each. One card is appropriate for acquaintances, colleagues and clients, and the second speaks at a more personal and emotional level for family, friends or someone special.
“At AppreciationDay.com, we take pleasure in donating a portion of every card sold to charity and conveying the overall message of the importance of sharing Appreciation,” says Cleveland.
