Founder and designer Alexis Benson is a former interior designer turned cycling enthusiast after an injury dictated she would no longer be a long distance runner. The idea to create clothing for fellow female cyclists originated out of a desire to see simple yet attractive cycling apparel tailored for a woman's body.
In an industry where women's styles are disjointed and unappealing due to an overshadowing, male-influenced market, Benson wanted to define her own standards for women’s wear.
