NBA Champion & Talk Show Host John Salley Discusses Communication in Marriage, Cheating Rules and His Unreleased Sex Tape on Maria Menounos' Black Hollywood Live Network
Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) August 12, 2014 -- (blackhollywoodlive.com) John Salley, NBA Champion and the Host of Fox Sports Net show The Best Damn Sports Show Period, recently sat down for an interview on Maria Menounos’ Lets Talk About Sex show featured on Black Hollywood Live. Salley shared how the sports term "cheating" in basketball is parallel to cheating in relationships. Cheating in a game is when "there are referees and the other team thinks that they are going to come and play in the game and you bring someone in that is not of age or not supposed to be involved, or you use something to enhance your team more than others and they don’t have the ability to use it. In a relationship, cheating is "I'm doing this and your not, and you don’t know that I'm doing this." Salley further expressed his belief that you can not chose who you love. "You can be with the one you love and then see another person you love. He later added “Renegotiating your contract in a relationship is just as deserved as being able to renegotiate your contract on the court.”
Relationship labels such as "open relationship" or "monogamy" complicate things. Salley expressed that "if you decide that you want to have sex with other people, that doesn't open the relationship, that opens the sex." The person who you spend your time in and invest in is the one you share a relationship with. "I have been married 21 years and no one defines my marriage." Salley admitted that he is extremely secure with himself and can handle having an honest conversation with his partner about her other sexual experiences with men. "What did he smell like? Did he have a big penis?" Details are actually a turn on for him.
Recently, Dr. Drew and John Salley had a discussion about sex with a difference of opinion about whether sexual addictions really exist. Salley stated "if you can’t take drugs for it then you’re not addicted." He recommends the purchase of a book called "Sex at Dawn" that will tell you how sex is run. Salley partially blames “sex problems” in relationships on America being over ruled by religious thoughts. "Look at the ridicule you get for thinking about sex, it’s a natural thing." Salley joked and sarcastically questioned "who can really function properly without sex?"
Salley, who is a vegan, attributes his high sex drive and stamina to his plant based diet. His decision to change his lifestyle formed after suffering from high cholesterol, back pain and his sexy disappearing.
Before the show ended, Salley admitted to having made a sex tape that somebody else has and mentioned the female that was in the tape has passed away. Salley revealed that he shot the tape himself.
In addition to being a sex expert, Salley is an accomplished author. His book on vaginas is coming out soon!
