InterBattery 2014 is to be one of four top industry exhibitions making up Energy Korea Week, from October 14th to 16th, 2014 at Coex in Seoul. InterBattery, along with the Korea Smart Grid Expo, Green Energy Korea and New & Renewable Energy Korea, will together offer a complete experience of the global energy industry under one roof.

Organized by Korea’s leading exhibition and convention center, Coex, and the Korea Battery Industry Association, InterBattery is a premier platform for businesses in the battery and renewable energy industry. Exhibits at InterBattery 2014 will include rechargeable batteries, energy storage systems, research and development institutions, and electric automobiles.

The launch of InterBattery in 2013 aimed at broadening the spectrum of energy-related products and technologies already available at the annual Energy Week Korea, while providing a tailored business platform for those in the rapidly-growing battery industry. The success of first InterBattery – which saw participation from 268 companies across 13 countries, and 14,923 visitors throughout the four days of the show – highlights the strong current growth and development of both the Korean and global market. Close cooperation between organizers and Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, ensures a top-quality event attended by key figures, brands and buyers in the global industry.

The Battery Conference, to be held concurrently throughout InterBattery, is expected to draw a further 500 industry experts and researchers from around the globe. The Battery Conference will provide a fantastic opportunity for up-to-date information share, while offering a space for international colleagues to network and explore business opportunity.

Energy Korea Week is the largest event hosted by Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and aims to act as a business platform for thousands of buyers, industry experts, and brands across the international energy market.
