The Manhattanville School of Business will host a graduate open house Thursday, Aug. 21 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The open house will be held in historic Reid Castle on Manhattanville College’s campus located at 2900 Purchase St., Purchase, NY.

The information session, which is free to all, will provide an overview of the School of Business’s graduate programs, advanced certificates, and what to expect when applying and after enrollment. Prospective students will also be given the opportunity to meet with program directors, admissions staff, and current students. Open house attendees will receive an application fee waiver.

The program will also feature School of Business Professor Scott Walsh, who will present a 20-minute power session on “Strategic Talent Management - New Paradigms for Employment in the 21st Century.” Professor Walsh will examine the impact of technological change and global competition on companies’ current talent acquisition and development strategies, and will discuss the implications for new jobseekers’ and current employees’ success in the workplace. Particular emphasis will be placed on the critical role of the “knowledge worker.”

“Our open house events are excellent opportunities to expose prospective students to timely program topics through the expertise of our faculty,” said Dr. Anthony Davidson, dean of the Manhattanville School of Business. “Professor Walsh will be the first in a series of featured speakers at future open houses.”

The Manhattanville School of Business’s graduate programs of study include: Business Leadership, Human Resource Management & Organizational Effectiveness, Finance, International Management, Marketing Communication Management, and Sport Business Management.
