MAP Health Management announced today it has contracted with “The Daily Helpline” to provide 24-hour, seven days per week telephone coverage to viewers who call seeking healthcare resources after tuning into the program. The new talk show is piloted in nine select markets nationwide, and if successful, may be offered nationally to other stations next fall. “The Daily Helpline” features co-hosts Spirit Clanton and Miles Adcox, who discuss topics and tackle challenging issues facing viewers, including family dysfunction, codependent relationships, and substance abuse and addiction.
Recognized as experts in the field of addiction recovery support and care coordination, MAP Health Management provides support and referral services to individuals and family members seeking help to address issues related to alcoholism and addiction. MAP’s innovative proprietary data system provides its Referral Specialists with the technological advantage to match callers with the ideal provider for their needs. The opportunity to provide referrals to talk show viewers in need is a natural progression for MAP, as it has the infrastructure in place to accommodate more than 400 calls each day from individuals who have experienced similar life challenges.
According to Jacob Levenson, CEO of MAP, “Our team is excited about the opportunity to provide referral assistance to viewers of The Daily Helpline. We are prepared to tap into our database of resources and offer credible referrals using our proven, strategic approach.”
Topics on “The Daily Helpline” are varied, and the realistic subject matter appeals to a broad audience. The MAP Specialists have begun to receive calls from viewers and provide pertinent referrals, and the collaboration between MAP and The Daily Helpline is already successfully serving people in need.
