Cypress Bayou to Host BBQ Cook-Off, Car Show and 34th Annual MDA Ride for Life on September 20

The grounds of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel will be busy September 20th, with three major events taking place at the South Louisiana hotspot. The day will start with the inaugural “Grillin’ Proud” BBQ Cook-Off, followed by the “Revvin’ Loud" Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Rat Rod and Special Interest Show and then culminate with the 34th Annual MDA Ride for Life.

The grounds of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel will be busy September 20th, with three major events taking place at the South Louisiana hotspot. The day will start with the inaugural “Grillin’ Proud” BBQ Cook-Off, followed by the “Revvin’ Loud" Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Rat Rod and Special Interest Show and then culminate with the 34th Annual MDA Ride for Life.

“This is the first time we are combining three major events like this on our property, but we think it is going to provide an exciting day for both those participating and for our guests,” said Anthony Patrone, CEO and General Manager of Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel. “Not only are we going to have fun with all of these organizations coming together, but we are going to benefit so many different charities. Working to better our community is a top priority for Cypress Bayou.”

The 34th Annual MDA Ride for Life will leave from Cajun Harley-Davidson at 8am that morning and is expected to reach Cypress Bayou by 1pm. Once all riders have reached the casino, MDA will hold a live auction and raffle off a 2014 Harley-Davidson FLHXS StreetGlide motorcycle. Tickets for the raffle and pre-registration can be done online at http://www.cajunhd.com.

The “Revvin Loud” Car, Truck, Motorcycle, Rat Rod and Special Interest Show will begin at 8am with Top 50 plus specialities. The proceeds from the car show will benefit Brittany’s Project. For more information at “Revvin Loud” contact Sandra Saucier at 337.828.2284.
