Eating Disorder Treatment Program Expands to Reach the Orange County Community
Long Beach, California (PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Shoreline announces expansion of services into Orange County, CA. Rachel Levi, Shoreline Founder and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist states, “Access to care is a vital component of eating disorder treatment. We are excited to expand our services to reach more people who are struggling and need more intensive support and structure.” The new location is in the Laguna Hills area of Orange County, and offers partial hospitalization/day treatment and an intensive outpatient program for the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and exercise addiction.
Due to the success of clients who have obtained services at the Long Beach facility, Shoreline has been encouraged by the medical and mental health professional community to expand services into Orange County. There is currently limited access to treatment and a gap to levels of care in the Orange County area, despite a high need. Levi adds, “We are at a place in the organization where we can successfully expand our services to the Orange County area and be an integral support to the community.” Obtaining treatment within a person’s own community is essential to achieving and maintaining recovery.
Professionals feel confident referring their clients to Shoreline for its trusted, evidence-based treatment. Now, clients don’t have to travel long distances to obtain these services. Shoreline is now able to provide structure and support in a nurturing environment to a wider service area and closer to clients’ homes.

Shoreline offers evidenced-based treatment that focuses on the person as a whole.
