Tucson, Ariz (PRWEB) August 13, 2014

Wings for Women, a community-funded Tucson organization that assists homeless women in several areas, including life skills development, education, parenting, employment and more, is holding a fall gala called “A Magical Night for Change” on September 6th. Personal injury firm Zanes Law is proud to host the event, which will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 445 S. Alvernon Way, starting at 5 p.m.

Susan Burton, a 2010 CNN Top 10 Hero, will be a special guest, and elegant dining and entertainment will take place. All proceeds will benefit Wings for Women and its mission to support homeless children and women on their path to becoming educated and leading healthy, productive lives. Tickets for the event are $60 each, if purchased by August 15th. If purchased after that date, ticket prices are $70 each. The master of ceremonies will be KVOA anchor Allison Alexander.

“Our ultimate goal is to help women achieve permanent housing and get their lives back on track,” said Nadia Valle, president and founder of Wings for Women. “By holding this exciting gala, we hope to bring in money to help meet our goals and make people more aware of our organization.”

Since the organization was founded in 2011, Wings for Women’s core programming has been supportive in taking small but significant steps toward re-establishing lives. The organization enables life plans, in addition to daily support with basic living skills and community re-integration. Wings for Women offers a variety of services designed to assist women in their journey towards independent lives in the community.
