As of July 7, Children’s National welcomes Lauren Fisher as the new Vice President of Communications, Public Relations, and Marketing.

Ms. Fisher brings more than three decades of healthcare and marketing experience to Children’s National. Most recently, she spent four years at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston as the Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, she established a fully integrated strategic marketing function to help support internal and external priorities, including the launch of a comprehensive obstetrics/gynecology program focused on high risk births and expansion of Texas Children’s primary care network.

"Lauren brings a wealth of effective communications experience to Children’s National, and with the backing of a strong, dedicated team, will advance Children's story in the region, across the country, and around the world,” said Elizabeth Flury, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.

Her responsibilities include integrating all public relations and marketing efforts with the organization’s strategic plan, and leading integrated communications to elevate the Children’s National brand nationally and internationally. That brand is comprised of many entities, including the Children’s Research Institute and the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation.

Additionally, Ms. Fisher comes to Children's with extensive client and agency experience building some of the world’s best-known consumer, corporate, and financial brands. She is a graduate of Princeton University.
