Level 3 Extends Network Into Continuum Data Centers’ CDC 603 West Chicago Facility
West Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Chicago colocation solutions provider New Continuum Holdings Corporation dba Continuum Data Centers (“CDC”) announced that global telecommunications provider Level 3 Communications has extended its fiber-optic network into CDC’s 603 Discovery Dr. data center in Chicago’s western suburbs enabling it to offer its full suite of connectivity services, including MPLS/IP VPN, Managed Network Services and Cloud Connect Solutions to Continuum customers.
Level 3’s MPLS/IP VPN service provides global connectivity available in more than 45 countries in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The MPLS/IP VPN service runs both IPv6 and legacy IPv4 over Level 3’s network, allowing customers to mix protocols on the same port and within the same VPN. Additionally, Level 3’s Managed Network Services offering provides turnkey management of wide area network (WAN) routers, including installation, configuration, monitoring, management and maintenance of the network routers, with optional security packages that provide secure VPN access for remote sites and/or mobile users.
Level 3’s Cloud Connect Solutions offering enables customers to quickly add or change connections between their WAN and different public, private and hybrid cloud resources. Level 3 Cloud Connect Solutions offers a portfolio of private network services which provide built-in security and reliable network performance to help ensure mission-critical cloud-based data and applications are safe and responsive. With flexible bandwidth and usage-based billing, organizations can also consume the network efficiently.
