New GovTech Company Recognized by The Library of Congress
Menlo Park, CA (PRWEB) August 15, 2014 -- The Library of Congress is now archiving 4PIA. Inc. content--including the TweetCloud™ and Vote counts to Members of Congress-- for the official national historical record.
4PIA, Inc.,(4 People In Action), was notified last week by the United States Library of Congress, that http://4pia.com/ and http://4pia.com/mobile/ has been selected for inclusion in the official digital archives of the United States.
The Library of Congress preserves "the Nation's cultural artifacts" and "materials of historical importance to the Congress and the American people." This mission extends to digital materials, and the Library has identified 4PIA as an important part of a collection of materials related to public policy topics and the historical record of the United States.
"The 4PIA team is extremely honored by this announcement. We started nearly a year ago to provide a platform for your Voice and your Votes, so Policy makers hear a more informed electorate, and as a result, make more informed decisions. In addition, 4PIA's robust sentiment analytics dashboard, used by Members of Congress, is powered by big data of social media to gauge the effectiveness of their messaging," said Rani Yadav Ranjan, Founder and CEO.
"We thank you for sharing your voice and your votes on http://4pia.com/mobile/ and look forward to working with you in the future to bring new opportunities for engagement, connection and change," added Ms. Ranjan.
- Please note that only information publicly available on 4PIA will be included in the Library of Congress archive. Non-public information will not be accessed by the Library.
