Progrexion Will Match Donations to Utah Food Bank in August
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) August 14, 2014 -- Progrexion, a company dedicated to ensuring fair and accurate consumer credit reports, announced that it will match donations made by any Utah business that signs up to support Utah Food Bank’s Summer Business Food and Fund Drive in August. Progrexion will match all donations up to $15,000 made through Aug. 31, 2014 by new business participants.
Progrexion supported Utah Food Bank’s drive this summer by encouraging its 2,300 employees to donate and raise money or to collect and contribute non-perishable food. Last year during the firm’s second year of participation, employees of Progrexion and its affiliated brands, including Lexington Law and CreditRepair.com, raised $43,000 and became the second largest business contributor of Summer 2013. The company hopes to raise $72,000 in 2014.
“We would like to encourage any local business that hasn’t yet participated in Utah Food Bank’s Summer Business Food and Fund Drive to take advantage of this opportunity to double their donation with Progrexion’s match,” said Progrexion CEO Jeff Johnson. “There’s still time to sign up and collect donations in August, and Progrexion will do its part to match whatever new participating companies collect this month.”
According to Utah Food Bank, demand for food is high during the summer months, and donations are typically lower. The Summer Business Food Drive ends August 31, and the food bank is still seeking the public’s help to stock its shelves by donating cash or food. The non-profit relies heavily upon its partnerships with Utah’s business community to help fight hunger statewide. To sign up for the food drive, businesses are encouraged to visit http://www.UtahFoodBank.org/food-drive. Utah Food Bank will help with the planning process.
"As part of its effort to become an employer of choice, Progrexion continues to create community-focused opportunities year-round,” added Johnson. “As we grow our employee base, we will also expand upon a wide range of impactful community give-back programs.”
