According to Samelia Quinn, Office Manager at Hager Hall, the NE Time Systems solution has improved operations in a number of ways. Firstly, utilizing biometric fingerprint technology has completely eliminated the possibility of “buddy punching” (employees punching for one another) and falsified records.
When asked about the NT450-FP Push Technology Smart Time Clock Kiosk, Ms. Quinn elaborates, “The clock is user-friendly and easy to use. The interface is very clear, and it welcomes our employees by name.”
Ms. Quinn adds, “Employees now punch in under their own department and under their own event. Calculating the costs for each event used to take me about four hours each pay period. Now, it is just five seconds to run a report!” She continues, “Tracking events has completely changed how I do things, saving me a ton of time. The software is easy to navigate, and I love that I can create my own reports!”
Some of Ms. Quinn’s other favorite features are the Supervisor Dashboard and the In/Out Board. With access to real-time information, Hager Hall can now better monitor their staffing levels halfway through the week, allowing them to manage employee hours. The system has also saved managers time preparing timesheets for payroll.
Another benefit of implementing the NE Time Systems solution is billing based on monthly active employees. Because Hager Hall’s employment numbers fluctuate each month, due to the nature of the industry, Ms. Quinn appreciates that the company is only charged for the number of active employees.
What Ms. Quinn finds most compelling about the software is “the simplicity of how to use it. I really, really like it. I feel like I have more control over the output.”
