A new Wine and Beer Tasting Series will be hosted in Brix & Ale, the hotel’s signature restaurant. Each tasting allows guests to learn more about the complexities of wine and beer and how important the Fall Harvest is to the creation of both libations. Each sip will be complimented by delectable items handpicked by the Chef and her team. Chef Bobbie is also adding Pumpkin Carving Classes this Halloween season for families to enjoy. Along with the new line-up of tastings and classes, Chef Bobbie is preparing organic picnic baskets “to-go” and guests experiencing the new Metrorail Exploration Package may pre-order a picnic basket to accompany them on the day’s journey. The organic picnic basket highlights locally grown items with a Virginia theme. Guests may order their picnic basket through In-Room Dining; each basket is $54.00 (not including tax and gratuity), per every two adults.
After a day of exploring the Washington DC Metro Region, guests may head to the local Farmers Market of Tysons on Sunday mornings located just down the street from the hotel.
