Understanding Knee Replacement Surgery and Vestibular Rehabilitation

Join two of the region’s leading physical therapists Tuesday, August 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a lunch and learn series in Williamsburg, Va. at the Colonial Heritage Club. The event is open to the community.
The clinicians both hail from Tidewater Physical Therapy.
Ginger Ogren, PT, MS, OCS is the Clinical Director of Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Norge location and will lead attendees in a presentation on what to expect from knee surgery.
Kristina Carter, PT, DPT, CMTPT, the Clinical Director of Tidewater Physical Therapy’s Advanced Specialty Center in Williamsburg will discuss vestibular rehabilitation, an exercise-based program designed to promote central nervous system compensation for inner ear deficits.

ABOUT GINGER OGREN:
Ginger Ogren, MS, PT, OCS, a Virginia native, earned an undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the College of William & Mary and a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from the Medical College of Virginia. She is an orthopedic clinical specialist and has served as adjunct faculty for the Kinesiology Department at the College of William & Mary. Ogren joined Tidewater Physical Therapy, Inc. in 1995 and has special treatment interest in manual therapy, sports injuries, and breast cancer rehabilitation.
ABOUT KRISTINA CARTER:
Kristina Carter, PT, DPT, CMTPT, originally from a suburb outside of Chicago, finished her undergraduate studies at Illinois State University and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2006. She joined Tidewater Physical Therapy, Inc. in 2006 and currently practices at Tidewater’s Williamsburg Physical Therapy, Advanced Specialty Center on Ironbound Road.
