After months of anticipation, VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa in Beaverton is officially open, creating 250 new jobs in Washington County. The new club will also feature a variety of family-friendly amenities making it the new go to hot spot for local families.

VillaSport held a ribbon cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and business leaders to celebrate the opening of their first Oregon club, located across from the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton. Beaverton Mayor Denny Doyle; Hillsboro Mayor Jerry Willey; Oregon State Senator, Mark Hass; Beaverton Chamber president, Lorraine Clarno; Metro Councilor for District 4, Kathryn Harrington; Beaverton City Councilor, Marc San Soucie and Washington County Commission Chair, Andy Duyck, among others, joined VillaSport CEO, Joseph Syufy, to celebrate the opening.

VillaSport will be the first premier athletic club and spa in the Portland metro area that is focused on the entire family. The club will offer a unique combination of luxury amenities and the finest state-of-the art equipment, providing members with an uncompromising experience in an exceptional environment. Some of the amenities include:

  •     Four fabulous pools including indoor and outdoor lap pools and recreational pools. The recreational pools feature zero entry, a variety of fun water features, two 26-foot water slides and areas for aquatic classes.
  •     The club will offer more than 120 state-of-the-art cardio machines with personal televisions and Internet access, a dedicated weightlifting area and a staff of fitness advisors to assist members with their training needs.
  •     Five dedicated exercise studios offer more than 180 group exercise classes each week for every level including: TRX, cardio/strength, Les Mills, Zumba, spin, Pilates, yoga, aqua aerobics, family classes and more.
  •     An NBA hardwood court with a cushioned wood floor.
  •     VillaKids, a dedicated 12,000 square foot children's area, will offer exercise and enrichment programming for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, as well as other seasonal camps. The club will feature indoor and outdoor play areas, a turf field, an art studio, a three-story indoor climbing tower, a dance studio and a basketball court.
  •     VillaSpa, a full-service spa at the heart of VillaSport is open to members and the community providing a tranquil and soothing environment with a variety of treatments designed to refresh, invigorate and restore the body, soul and sense of well-being.
  •     The club also offers a wide variety of fitness, sports, social and educational programs and functions throughout the year. Summer barbeques, fitness expos, wine tastings, and social music events are just a few of the many member events on tap.
  •     VillaCafe is open seven days a week for members and the community, offering a full selection of fresh, made-to-order and grab-and-go items for after a workout or a meal with the family.
