Modesto, California (PRWEB) August 19, 2014
Modesto Women's Expo has selected the community, non-profit it will benefit at this year's event. The Women's Expo will benefit United Way in two fold this year, having become a sponsor of United Way's Power of the Purse event next month, and announcing a portion of event proceeds to benefit the local, Stanislaus Chapter.
"We could not be more thrilled about supporting United Way Stanislaus. The purpose of the event is to connect women in our community with services and resources available to them in celebration of being a woman; whether those services are community based, health based, or other. The United Way has helped millions of young women for more than 125 years. We are honored to support this amazing organization and look forward to promoting their vision," says Kimberly Vaughan, Modesto Women's Expo Executive Producer.

When: October 18th, 2014 8:30a - 4p
Where: Modesto Centre Plaza
1000 L Street; Modesto, CA 95354
Event proceeds are raised through ticket sales. Producers of the Modesto Women's Expo have attracted keynote and guest speakers to drum ticket sales to the event and have also arranged a breakfast and award ceremony the morning of the event with Keynote Speaker Shari Fitzpatrick. Ms. Fitzpatrick is best known as the founder of Shari's Berries. To date, her passion has turned to her new brand Berried in Chocolate. Breakfast participants will enjoy a scrumptious prepared meal by Doubletree by Hilton Modesto chefs and listen intently to Shari Fitzpatrick's instruction of how she built a multi-million dollar company. The audience will gain first-hand knowledge encouraging them to build their own business.
Beside the breakfast, the event promises additional speakers including Dr. Joan Rosenberg, PhD, co-author of Mean Girls, Meaner Women; creator of Emotional Mastery, and Pepperdine University professor. Dr. Rosenberg's appearances on CNN, OWN, and expert appearances in documentary films such as I Am may herald familiarity and interest with women who would like to experience a ninety minute workshop on Emotional Mastery and wielding self confidence.
Other speakers include Virginia Madueno, former Mayor of Riverbank; Kimberly Reyes, Lifestyle Curator and Author; Dr. Brent Hill, DC of Hill Integrative Medicine; Reverend Twyla Reece, Heart Math Instructor; Amanda Hillsdale, Professional and Personal Coach; Susan J Davis, RN Doctors Medical Center "Give Breast Cancer the Pink Slip" Campaign Survivor.
Additionally, a fashion show exclusive to Vintage Faire Mall retailers will feature women's casual, business and evening attire just in time for fall and leading into the Christmas season.
