In his role, Rick will work with Albireo Energy CEO Phil Bomrad and the executive team to source acquisitions, provide integration insight, and assist in strategic planning. Albireo Energy is a building automation and energy service company that delivers solutions to large commercial and institutional buildings and is aggressively expanding its operations through strategic acquisitions nationally.

For many years, Rick was at Siemens Building Technologies where he served as Division President with responsibility for the Building Automation and HVAC Products Divisions. While at Siemens, Rick led industry innovations in DDC technology and wireless controls. He oversaw the operations of the company’s branch offices and managed the independent dealer network. He has been a President or CEO of seven companies and has served on several Boards and industry trade associations. Rick is Chairman Emeritus of CU Cleantech at the University of Colorado – Boulder.
