NAPW Philadelphia Chapter Hosts Women of Excellence Leadership Launch and Announces Deanna E. Ransom as New President
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) August 20, 2014 -- The NAPW Philadelphia Chapter boasts over 600 members, and is excited that Deanna E. Ransom, MBA will become its new President. Ms. Ransom was appointed in June 2014, having just been proclaimed an NAPW VIP Woman of the Year. The event begins with a passing of the torch from past Philadelphia Chapter President, Naketa Thigpen, and then moves on to spotlight women of excellence in the Philadelphia area, while highlighting the organizations local NAPW Foundation partners.
Ms. Ransom will introduce her leadership team and share the Chapter’s exciting initiatives to serve the Philadelphia community, including fundraising events for NAPW Foundation partners Girls Inc., Dress For Success, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The American Heart Associations, with representation and words from local representatives of each organization. Members, prospective members, local political officials along with other VIP guests will also hear the new vision and plans for the upcoming year.
“Leadership, creativity, flexibility and collaboration are my key skills,” says Ms. Ransom. As a Director of Marketing at SAP through her relationship with Projectline Services, Inc., Deanna has consistently developed and executed integrated marketing plans inclusive of content development, social media, digital marketing, product launches and global, cross-functional team leadership initiatives that are innovative, creative and strategic. In March of 2014, she received the distinguished Virtual Communication Excellence Award for “Best in Content Marketing.” Ms. Ransom has also had much success as a songwriter and gospel recording artist and has won such honors as Rhythm of Gospel Artist of the Year (2013), Video of the Year (2012) and Song of the Year (2011).
Invitations to the event have been issued to local politicians, including Mayor Michael Nutter and other Philadelphia dignitaries. The NAPW Philadelphia Chapter looks forward to developing strategic partnerships with organizations and community leadership within the Philadelphia area.
For this event, the Philadelphia Chapter has collaborated with Dave and Busters and expects to continue the relationship for future events. Under Ms. Ransom’s leadership, the NAPW Philadelphia Chapter will continue to ensure that the mission of NAPW is carried out to its members.
