For two days, over 70 exhibitors at the Health and Fitness Expo Denver will offer free samples, showcase the latest in running gear, sports apparel, health & nutritional information and much more. All runners must visit the Expo to pick up their race number, gear bag and t-shirt. It's the perfect venue for participants, friends and family to pick up last-minute race essentials and drop off unwanted running gear, clothing and shoes they no longer need.
American Textile Recycling Service (ATRS) will be on hand at the Health & Fitness Expo October 17-18 at the Colorado Convention Center, Hall F Booth 110 to educate attendees about the importance of textile recycling. Runners, friends and family are encouraged to stop by the ATRS Booth 110 and drop off used, unwanted and out of season running gear, shoes and other textile items for recycling on behalf of local charity Colorado Sled Hockey.
For over 5 years, American Textile Recycling Service has committed to raising funds on behalf of Colorado Sled Hockey to support programs that meet the special recreational, emotional and physical needs of disabled children and adults. Funding from this Clothing & Shoe Recycling partnership helps sponsor games and equipment for local athletes and participation in competitive disabled festivals further afield. Every item dropped off to ATRS at The Health and Fitness Expo will be reused, resold or recycled to support Colorado Sled Hockey.
