Social Solutions Releases Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention Block Grant Performance Model
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 19, 2014 -- Social Solutions Global, Inc., the leading provider of performance management software for human service organizations, today announced the recent release of its Substance Abuse Treatment and Prevention Block Grant (SAPT BG) Performance Model.
Performance Models are research-based configurations of Social Solutions’ performance management software platform, Efforts to Outcomes (ETO®) software, designed to support program performance management for frontline staff and managers in a particular type of program. Performance Models enable large-scale public sector agencies to rapidly deploy pre-configured but flexible models that can track highly individualized, locally-driven services at the participant level while reporting on common outcomes at the aggregate level, across multiple sites and programs.
The SAPT BG Performance Model was designed to meet the needs of states with SAPT BG funding from the Center for Substance Abuse and Prevention (CSAP) at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The ETO SAPT Block Grant Performance Model, developed in collaboration with the OMNI Institute, supports performance management at a high level, allowing states to:
• Track the technical assistance they provide and the extent to which providers improve in the areas of assistance.
• Track dosage of individual-level interventions, as well as progress toward prevention outcomes as measured by the CSAP-required National Outcome Measures (NOM).
• Compare use of evidence-based programs and strategies at the provider and state level year over year.
• Review and drive progress toward meeting SAPT BG requirements.
"Public substance abuse and treatment programs can save hundreds of hours and substantial financial and staff resources by utilizing the pre-configured SAPT BG Performance Model. The model will help large-scale public service organizations track highly-individualized, locally-driven services at the participant level while reporting on common outcomes at the aggregate level across multiple sites and programs,” said Scott Johnson, CEO of Social Solutions. “The use of this and Social Solutions’ other Performance Model offerings have the potential to change the way the government strives to foster innovation, use of evidence, transparency, accountability and transformative impact.”
