MCH Strategic Data Tracks Seasonal Hiring of School Staff
Sweet Springs, Mo. (PRWEB) August 19, 2014 -- Nearly 50 percent of students will return to school from Aug. 18-29 as depicted in this interactive graphic from MCH Strategic Data. According to the leading provider of real-time educational marketing data, this back-to-school timeframe also coincides with an influx of new school personnel.
For nearly a year, MCH has tracked school personnel trends through its Monitor Service, which provides real-time updates of schools and personnel data for education sales marketing and management professionals. MCH checks over 50,000 school websites each month to update and verify more than 2.5 million school personnel, covering more than half of the K-12 market.
“As we plunge into the critical back-to-school marketing period, Monitor Service is providing huge benefits to marketers,” said John F. Hood, president of MCH Strategic Data. “Our up-to-date database gives marketers a competitive edge by enabling them to reach those teachers new to the profession and their respective buildings, plus the millions of teachers verified to be on school websites in the last 30 days.”
Schools have been updating their websites with new personnel at a rapid pace, growing from 8,000 in May, to 12,000 in June and 37,000 in July. Within the first half of August, another 26,000 educators were added as identified by MCH’s Monitor Service. The number is likely to reach 100,000 by the end of August, and MCH estimates that 8 to 10 percent of school personnel are new to their institutions in the three-month period leading into the back-to-school season.
“With almost all schools making personnel changes and updating their websites in August and September, Monitor Service is a game-changer for the education list industry with almost real-time data by reviewing and verifying every name every 30 days,” said Hood.
