Carmel Dibner Re-Joins Applied Marketing Science
Waltham, MA (PRWEB) August 25, 2014 -- Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (AMS), a leading-edge market research and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Carmel Dibner has re-joined the firm as an Associate Principal, working in the Insights for Innovation practice. With experience in product marketing, brand management, and market research, Carmel will be responsible for client relationship management, client service delivery and business development for the Insights for Innovation practice. Carmel was with Applied Marketing Science from 2007 to 2010, and will resume and increase her responsibilities as Associate Principal.
Carmel’s experience covers both the consulting side and client side of marketing strategy and research. She has served clients across many industries, with specific expertise in consumer durables, consumer packaged goods, medical devices, financial institutions and academic institutions. Most recently, Carmel worked in brand management for Unilever, one of the world’s largest CPG companies, on both the Dove® brand and the company’s multicultural business. At Unilever, Carmel was involved in all aspects of marketing and brand building, including launching new products, developing and implementing marketing campaigns, and managing brand forecasts and budgets. She also helped launch Dove® Advanced Hair Series, a new, premium tier of hair care products for the brand. Prior to Unilever, Carmel worked in consumer insights at Newell Rubbermaid, a company that produces tools, commercial products, writing instruments, baby and parenting gear, and home solutions.

Carmel holds an M.B.A. in marketing and management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she was named a Palmer Scholar, and a B.A. in psychology and sociology with a concentration in business & organizations, magna cum laude, from Cornell University.
