Announcement: GuitarControl.com Releases “Guitar Lick with Octaves in the Style of George Benson - Lead Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) August 19, 2014 -- Jon demonstrates this cool octave lick based off of a D7 chord as follows; 7th fret of the 4th string with first finger, while simultaneously muting the 3rd string, and 10th fret of the 2nd string with 4th finger, while simultaneously muting the first string. MacLennan strums the lick with his thumb and simply slides this shape from the 7th fret to the 9th fret and then the 12th fret. Next Jon moves the chord shape to the 3rd and first strings starting on the 10th fret of the 3rd string to the 11th fret and then the 12th fret and then the 14th fret and then the 15th fret. Next MacLennan moves back to the 4th string starting on the 12th fret and then back to the 3rd string on the 9th and then the 10th frets and then back to the 12th fret of the 4th string and then finally finishes the lick with the D7 chord. Complete guitar TAB’s are available for this cool guitar lesson at GuitarControl.com.
